Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Team Equipment, Inc. wants every visitor, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to research and request the life-safety equipment they need. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time checkbox.

What we have built in

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability: menus, dropdown panels and forms can be reached and operated without a mouse, and dialogs close with the Escape key.
  • Text alternatives on meaningful images and labels on all form fields and icon buttons.
  • Color contrast chosen to meet WCAG AA on text and interactive controls.
  • Respect for your system's reduced-motion preference, and page layouts that reflow for zoom and small screens.

The accessibility menu

Every page has a round blue accessibility button in the bottom left corner. It opens a menu of adjustments that apply instantly and are remembered on your device:

  • Bigger text: three zoom steps up to 40 percent larger.
  • High contrast, invert colors and grayscale display modes.
  • Readable font: switches the whole site to a plain, familiar typeface.
  • Highlight links: underlines and outlines every link.
  • Pause motion: stops animations and transitions.
  • Big cursor and a reading guide that follows your pointer.

These settings are stored only in your browser and never leave your device. "Reset all" returns everything to the default.

Known limitations

Some content on the Site comes from third parties that we do not control: manufacturer websites and brochures we link to, PDF documents produced by manufacturers, and embedded videos. These may not meet the same accessibility standard. If any of them blocks you, contact us and we will provide the information another way, including by phone.
